Folk Arts Rare Records has hosted live performances by the likes of Sam Chatmon, Tom Waits, and Thomas Shaw, and we are very excited to announce our first concert at our new location at 3072 El Cajon Blvd!

Eric Freeman will be performing live at Folk Arts Rare Records on Friday, April 17th. 6 p.m. start. Freeman hails from Rappahannock County, Virginia, where he learned from the great bluesman John Jackson. He plays many different styles of legit prewar blues. This guy can really play.

Standing room only. Happy hour concert. The show is free – donations to the artist encouraged.

This concert is part of Boulevard Nights, a very cool event with music, art, film, food, and drink at neighborhood businesses, including the monthly Boulevard Market.
